Consulting, creating, writing, educating
Clarific Services was founded as an information systems consultancy in 2011 by David P. Welliver, MS, MBA, who had previous careers in education, music, and information technology.
Although our projects are no longer confined to the domain of information systems, our approach to clarification in any domain relies heavily on the same practices and methods that have found success in the information systems discipline.
We have often found that a focus on clarification of a challenging problem, and careful identification of true constraints (rather than assuming specific requirements without clarifying the underlying "entities and relationships"), results in solutions that are practical and relatively simple.
A typical project involves close interaction with one or more collaborators having significant experience in the project's subject area.
